Land Information New Zealand had identified via a business case a requirement for an Electronic Document and Records Management solution, to aid their organisation to manage their information correctly. Tina was involved in the beginning of this process providing advice during the user requirements gathering phase, aiding in the development of tender documents, and as a participant in the evaluation process of the vendor selection. Tina remained a key part of the project team during the duration of the project and was involved in all aspects of the implementation from the planning, designing and implementation of the technical solution.

Some of the activities undertaken by Tina were:

• Development and implementation of file classification structures for storing both Electronic and physical information
• Development of principles and business rules for the correct use of filing structures
• Designing and implementing Metadata schemas to enable classification of different types of information within the EDRMS.
• Development of retention and disposal schedules to manage, retain and dispose of electronic and physical information correctly.
• Facilitating workshops with key personal at LINZ to determine appropriate build of the EDRMS.
• Development of the design and build of the entire EDRMS system.
• Providing demonstrations to all LINZ offices to communicate information to the wider business community.
• Planning and development of data migration strategies.
• Planning and development of the design, structure and content for an e-learning tool to enable end users to work successfully within an EDRMS environment.
